Attorney Thomas J. (T.J.) Carroll Jr. is the son of the late Thomas J. Carroll, Sr., and Molly Carroll, and has resided in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area for his entire life. T.J. graduated from Pittston Seton Catholic High School and is a 2001 cum laude graduate of the University of the Scranton with a B.S. in Biology. T.J. then graduated from Villanova University School of Law in 2006 and thereafter began practicing Civil Law in the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre area.

T.J.’s practice has focused in the area of Civil Litigation on both the Plaintiff and Defense side with a primary focus on the Plaintiff’s side helping those who have been injured, and he has continued this focus since joining The Belt Law Firm, PC in 2026, where he specifically practices in the area of Workers’ Compensation Law helping injured workers. T.J. is admitted to practice in the State of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court Middle District of Pennsylvania, and to practice as a Patent Attorney before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. T.J. also remains a member of the Pennsylvania and Lackawanna County Bar Associations. In his free time, he enjoys sports and spending time with his son, Cason.
